| Now
a registered charity, our membership includes groups and individuals
who support our beliefs in promoting the interests of children
with special needs, informing their parents and ensuring their
voice is heard in service planning.
Somerset
Impact has two paid workers, and is funded by Somerset Social
Services, and Education and Health Trusts. Activities are managed
by a small executive committee. |
|
Our
independence is important to us, and we aim to lobby and influence
statutory providers on issues affecting children with special
needs. Regular dialogue occurs with principle officers from
education, social services and health from across Somerset.
Somerset Impact encourages
collaboration between voluntary agencies and service providers,
promoting openness, trust and honesty in communication. |
